Rotary Club of Calcutta Yuvis, though a young club, is only 14 years old but it has already made its mark in the community through its various activities. Some of the highlights of Club’s activities are: Free Heart Surgeries for Children , more than 20000 Free Cataract Surgeries, Constructed more than 1400 Toilets in Villages, Free Computer Training to Educated Youth and creating Employment, Sewing Craft Training Centers, Beautician courses, Montessori teacher training  to help poor Girls in their self employment. Women Empowerment and Girl Child empowerment projects are regular.  Plantation of Fruit saplings, Dustbin installation, operating a school for under privilige children, Construction of Schools are some of our regular projects.

Distributed 50 +Wheel Chairs, Conducted Cancer awareness and sceering camps, construction of  a polyclinic for underprivilege groups, and eye hospital are some of our Medical proejcts.

Installed more than 40 water-purifiers at schools for under-privileged children. Supported 100+ poor persons to buy Cycle Rickshaws and Van Rickshaws, Sponsoring the school fees of poor students. Supporting Orphanage, adopting Schools for providing quality education in better environment an infrastructure,  organizing seminars for awareness and personality development of different sections of people an many more such activities. Installation of subsidized Sanitary Napkin vending machine at girl’s school, also an incenerator for disposal of SAnitary pads for girls supporting deserving footballers with free boots, supported an orphanage Disha.

The Club owes to serve the society with the dedication of its members along with generous financial contributions from Business Houses, Institutions, Friends and well Wishers of Society, Rotarians both from India and abroad and the Rotary Foundation.
