Navgathan - 15th Installation Ceremony of the Club was held on 12th July at Haldiram Banquets, Ballygunge where President – 2024-25 Rtn. Roli Thakur handed over the Leadership baton and installed Rtn. Vidhu Bhushan Verma for R.Y. 2025-26. It was attended by 118 persons having 33 Members, 14 Spouses, 9 PDGs, 22 Dist. Officials including DG and DGN, 12 visiting Rotarians from other Clubs, 2 Interactors, 20 Partner Organizations and CSR Partners and 06 Guests.

RCCY Club Annual Sports

Every year we are organising indoor sports for the family members of our club having Table Tennis & Badminton games like - individual Men & Women singles , Doubles Mix Etc at YMCA, Chowringhee. We had good presence of participants and game started by 10 am and end by 2.00 pm followed by Lunch for all at that Club and Prize distribution. The sprit of game and participants are very high. Total no of attendance including cheer persons was - 33 nos. which included Members – 16, AA , AP , AS , BD , DC , DK , PJJ , PJS , PM , RS , RT , SG2 , SJ , SK , SP & VBV, Spouses – 7, Rina , Mamta , Rekha , Swati , Mona , Aditi , Archana. kids – 5, Aradhya , Radhye , Pooja & Rahul , Hardik , Guest – 5, Kishanu ,Trisha ,Manish , Riyansh , Aayush.

RI Dist. 3291 Conference - Ramdhanu

12 of RCCY Members – Vidhu, Roli, Pradeep Jewrajka, Pawan Jain, Meenakshi, Preety, Saurav, Sanjay Pasari, Harish, BD Agarwal, Ashish Agarwal and Sarad Khatore registered and attended the Dist. 3291 Conference “Ramdhanu” held from 9th to 11th January, 2026. All of them attended various Plenary Sessions and Saurav, Meenakshi and Preety also attended the Ramp Walk on the last day. Rtn. Brotindro Mullick was elected as DGND – 2028-29 and PDG Rtn. Prabir Chatterjee was elected as COL Representative for 2026-29 .

Overninght Excursion for members with Families

Club members Night out with families : The Club had a family Night out organised at The Breathing Earth Resort which was Attended by 9 Members, 7 Spouses, 2 Guests, 3 Kids. All enjoyed the Get Together with lots of games, sumptuous Food and Singing and dancing.

Meet and Greet for Team 2026-27

Meet & Greet ( Melbandhan ) for Team 2026–27 at Spring Club - Hosted by the elected DG Rtn. Tapas Bhattacharya and attended by several PDGs, It was attended by IPP Roli who was appointed as Zonal Coordinator, PP Rtn. Sanjay Pasari appointed as District Secretary - Projects and Meenakshi also joined as elected president of RC Calcutta Yuvis for 2026-27.

Rendezvous - 2nd Pres / Secy / AG / ZS Meet

A meeting was held at Rotary Sadan on 10th December 2025, attended by Members President Vidhu, PP Pradeep Jewrajka and Secretary Meenakshi Krishna. The discussion focused on the upcoming District Conference (9th–11th January 2026), including the system for polling votes on 9th January from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM. Members of District 3291 were requested to attend the Conference in large numbers. PJ Sir, as DS - Projects, also explained the reasonable pricing for Conference registration and the distribution of blankets from the District.

Rotary Foundation Seminar

The Foundation Seminar was held on 27th November ’25 at 6:30 PM at the Spring Club and was attended by IPP Roli and PP Harish. 2 cheques of US$100 each, contributed by Rtn. Sanjay Gupta and Rtn. Anil Poddar for the Polio Plus Fund were handed over to PDG Rtn. Mukul Sinha during the seminar. Key Note Speaker Mr. Leander Paes was awesome. He delivered a speech on Polio and also agreed to serve as an ambassador for Thalassemia eradication.

Dist. Bijoya Diwali Meet

The District Bijoya Diwali Meet was attended by PP Rtn. Ashish Agarwal and PP Rtn. Pradeep Jewrajka. It was a well-organized event with a good gathering.

RCCY - Diwali Meet

Yusis’s Diwali Meet at Princeton Club was a vibrant and well-organized celebration with excellent attendance. The anchor kept the program lively and engaging, and the food was enjoyed by all. Members, Anns, and two invited guests participated wholeheartedly, making the evening warm, festive, and thoroughly enjoyable. Overall, it was a highly successful Diwali gathering with 27 Members, 18 Spouses and 2 Guests making a total of 47.

Fellowship Lunch

Post Project Fellowship Lunch - A fellowship lunch at Club Verde after Project Hariyali added a light-hearted and bonding touch to the day, strengthening camaraderie among members.

Bollywood Theme Antakshari

A lively Bollywood-themed Antakshari competition was jointly organized with RC Calcutta Mayfair, RC Calcutta Chowringhee and RC Calcutta Midtown. Team Yuvis participated enthusiastically, securing the Runners-Up position among spirited performances. The event brought together music, fun, and fellowship, enjoyed thoroughly by all attendees. There were 20 Participants from Yuvis which included Members, Spouses and Guests. A joint meeting of the 4 Clubs was also held where our club reported about our Activities and Projects
